Joe Posnanski is Executive Columnist for MLB.com and contributor to MLB Network. He doesn’t know what “Executive Columnist: means either. He has worked for NBC Sports, Sports Illustrated and the Kansas City Star, among other wonderful places. He has written four books, including New York Times bestsellers “The Machine,” “Paterno” and “The Secret of Golf,” along with the Casey-award-winning “The Soul of Baseball.” He has won an Emmy, three National Headliner Awards, been named National Sportswriter of the Year by three different organizations, and once hit a 100-mph serve. He is writing a book about Houdini. Joe lives in Charlotte with his wife Margo, their two daughters Elizabeth and Katie and their dog Westley, who sometimes goes by “Wesley.”
